Was It a Bunch of Guys at a Dinner?

This week in Bible Club kids will learn about the Lord’s Supper also known as Communion. For many in Western culture, da Vinci’s painting of The Last Supper is what they know of the event. We will talk about what really happened and how we are called to remember it today — not as a mere painting but as a reflection of Christ’s work on the Cross.

We hope your child can join us, and as usual we will serve dinner in the main church afterward.

Last week for dinner we had a favorite, but there were quite a few kids out sick who were bummed they missed it, so we’re doing it again — pancakes, bacon and sausage.

Parable of the Sower

Parable of the Sower
This week in Bible Club kids will learn how our hearts are like soil and how we thrive.

The dearest wish of most parents is that their child may grow strong while withstanding the troubles of the world. We talk about that this week.

We hope your child can join us, and as usual we will serve dinner in the main church afterward.

Last week one of the kids said, “Guess What? We had breakfast for dinner!” So that’s what we’re doing this week. On the menu are pancakes, bacon and sausage.

Like a Dove Descending

This week in Bible Club kids will learn about one of the most pivotal points in history when something came from heaven like a dove.

We often associate doves with peace and tranquility and a sense of all being right with the world. Certainly the event discussed in this week’s club will give insight into how God set about making peace.

We hope your child can join us, and as usual we will serve dinner in the main church afterward.

On the menu this week is a favorite (maybe on par with steak and baked potatoes as far as the kids are concerned) — grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup.

And we will have an alternative sandwich for those who are lactose intolerant. Hope to see you there.
